Throughout the years he has worked for various promotions, including Beyond Wrestling, Firestormpro, Ring of Honor, Full Impact Pro, IWA-Mid South, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Big Japan Pro Wrestling, and Combat Zone Wrestling.
Summers is well known for his willingness to participate in a creative and dangerous mix of hardcore wrestling, deathmatches, and brawls, as well as his appearance in the 2008 film The Wrestler.
